Seven to 7

Really, Seven to 7 has just given me one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had, and I'm not exaggerating. Okay, maybe a little. Service was kind of okay... I'll give it a pass. The place isn't very spacious, hence they squeezed us into one tiny table. That sucked, we couldn't eat without bumping into each others' elbows. Boo.

My utter complaints, however, are:
1. Extremely salty food - The soup was not quite drinkable, we had to ask to water it down with hot water. In addition, the sauces and stir-fry were salty too...
2. Tiny weeny portion - The salad/soup serving are meant for tinkerbell and such creatures I believe..
3. Sky-high price - On top of the pricey meat, Seven to 7 charges an additional Rp 50,000 for cooking fee, which includes a tiny soup/salad/dessert. TINY.

Note that Seven to 7's meats are numbered; higher number implies higher fat content. Also, I kind of forgot the exact price of the food, so these are accurate estimations.

Wagyu 4, which costs around Rp 120,000++/100gr (I don't have a good picture for this)

Wagyu 6, which costs around Rp 130,000++/100gr

Beef Roullade, which costs around Rp 50,000++

Beef Roullade
Beef Yakiniku, which costs around Rp 49,000, and comes with a bowl of rice

Uber Salty Beef Yakiniku

Don't be fooled by the pictures. They may seem like huge portions, but that's just because I used macro function on my camera.

That's it. I'm never going back to Seven to 7. Ever. And I definitely will not recommend to anyone! Just go to a decent steakhouse and have your meat. It will not cost more, I assure you, it'll be much more worth it. For the service, atmosphere, food... Happiness and contentment are priceless afterall

Be aware, Seven to 7 is located at Pantai Indah Kapuk. Just stay away. Go get Tekko/Lekko instead ;)

  1. TOTALLY AGREE. I've been there, and I sat on the 2nd floor where the sound echoes really loud. As a result, I could barely taste my food. THIS IS THE WORST STEAKHOUSE I HAVE EVER VISITED!!

    1. FYI, anonymous, if you have read and understood correctly, this post isn't about a comparison between teko lekko and seven to 7. Please polish up on your English before you think of giving offensive comments in English...
